Applicants with interests and experience in insect genetics are required for a collaborative project on the genetic control of tissue patterns and polymorphisms in genes which control that patterning. The work will link into studies of human genetics and variation and training would be provided in this aspect of the work. An interest in population genetics would be an advantage, but is not essential. The ability to work independently and to develop a project from a very early stage will be required.
